Movie Review: When Justice is Equalized in The Equalizer

If you love Training Day(2001) that was directed by Antoine Fuqua starring Denzel Washington, you'll definitely be fond over this.

The Plot
Robert McCall(Denzel Washington), a ex-highly skilled agent who fake his death in order to have a peace and quiet life suddenly decides to put his low-profile aside in order to save a girl's freedom from the hands of a fearsome Russian mob.

The Cinematography
Antoine definitely has a really unique way of capturing and portraying certain elements such as the tattoo scenes on Teddy(Marton Csokas) which I would vividly remember it because from that upside down top to bottom view of the tattoo not only gave me the feeling that this person is someone that you shouldn't be messing with but it also gave me a disturbed feeling.

Denzel's character portrayal on Robert is spot on. A kind and compassionate person who would help to seek peace for the people around him. He is the super-hero that every wishes to have in a reality settings where he's willing to risk his peace and life for others.

Teddy, the problem solver for the Russian mob is the equation that makes this whole movie a thrill as he challenges Robert's intelligence throughout the entire movie. Watching the two of them trying to outsmart one another was mind-blowing.

Soundtrack
The music was a little off towards the end but the movie is so good that you won't even bother as it is too violent that your brain is in a trance mode of disturbance.

Summary
The Equalizer is a super awesome gruesome-violent action movie with lots of slashing and stabbing sound effects that would make you experience a series of goosebumps.
