Product Review: Asience Nature Shampoo by Kao

It's time to inspect some pampering product that will either make you keep it on your "Stuck Like Glue List" or a tossed into the trash can of "Not For Me Bin".
As stated in the title, the first product that I'll be reviewing on is a daily necessity for every human being for their hair and that is shampoo! :) And my first victim is the Asience Nature Shampoo by KAO.

According to KAO, this shampoo is suitable for people who has oily scalp with a combination of dry and tangled ends which is the type of hair that I have. What makes this so unique from other shampoos is that it is said to restore Asian's original beauty hair. I do not know why is it made specially for that purpose, but my assumption is probably because Asians are said to have luxurious, silky black hair. Moving on, this shampoo is supposed to give the scalp a feel of refreshing along with a lightness and smoothness to the hair due to the two extra main ingredients known as the Licorice Essence(scalp) and the Lotus Flower(hair).
Extra informations(you may skip this part): With the help of Google, it seems that licorice essences are used to boost the immune system of a person's health and it reduces hair loss. However, I'm not sure how is it useful to control the oil found in the scalp but I do know that oily scalps tends to lose quite a number of hair due to the sebums:) So that's good I guess. As for the Lotus flower, it contains linoleic acid, protein, phosphorus, iron and vitamins B & C and again I guess it's good for oily scalp's due to the linoleic acid as linoleic is used to dry up oil but I do not know how is that useful to give the hair lightness and smoothness.

Opinion
After using it for a whole month. I personally don't like this shampoo at all. It does remove excess oil from my scalp but it does not provide either volume nor smoothness to my hair ends as they had advertised. Worst of all, it makes my scalp itchy. Trust me, I did rinse my hair appropriately but it still makes my hair follicles on my scalp itchy. If you are looking for a shampoo that smells good, this shampoo is off the counter. It doesn't smell awesome. It does not smell like any of Sunsilk, Pantene, L'oreal, or Herbal Essences Shampoo that you had done a sniff test on. It smells weird. Overall, I would not be buying this shampoo anymore after I finish using this bottle cause I honestly do not find anything special to it. It did not make my hair lighter, smoother or healthier like what it was advertised. An utter disappointment to it's sexy and sleeky bottle design :(

Rating: 1/5 (for the oil removal)
